Hey Fellas,

Here are two sketches I did in the past couple weeks.

AusV8SS Ford Falcon
Why won't Ford bring this car to the U.S.? I think it is because it would be quicker than the Ford Mudstang.

Amazing skeckes al! I like the sykline the best but only because I think its a better looking car, plus the angle looks better IMO. Btw, the falcon costs $38,850, but thats the XR6 Turbo, Im not sure what the others cost.

I really like your style. Its real sketchy/detailed up front and slowly fades away! Excellent!

al my man. those rock. i love your lines. they are very loose yet they are tight. that is a sign of mastery. both drawings are great. overall they are pleasant to look at again and again. long shelf life. do you sell your work? if you don't you should. rather, sell prints of it. keep the originals. this way you make money again and again with the same piece.

(if you already sell your stuff and i am unaware or forgetful, then i apologize)

it is good to see stuff up there from you again, btw.

great falcon, but its not and SS, thats the holden eqivelent.Im lucky i live in australia and see these cars every day.the top of the line falcon(GT) costs about 60,000 and does the quarter in 13.9(i think) thanks to its all aussie 5.4L V8 pumping out 290Kw.the car u have drawn is ford falcon supercar that races in the Supercar series.

...but its not and SS...
Sorry about that I thought it was part of the AusV8SS racing series, my mistake.

Thx Fellas for the kind replies.

I just wanted to let you guys know I spend some time on these, The shading may look quick and it is done rather quickly but I spend lots of time trying to get proportions correct.

Bonz, I haven't sold art in a long time. I use to make these skateboards out of index cards w/ graphics back in 6th grade. I think that was the last time I sold any art. :) I mostly give stuff away as gifts.

welp, you don't need to sell it. so it is more fun this way. i suggest it, though. you are plenty good enough to offer it in some market. i'll leave it at that. now, it will take a bit of work to present it, sell it. but since you don't need to do it, it can be a fun project.

who knows where it may lead unless you do it. i mean, i do it for a living. that is my primary income source. so it *can* be done.

Thank you very much Bonzelite.

I toyed w/ the idea of trying to do this for a living but I don't think I would enjoy it as much, plus I figure I can make more money working in Information Technology (starting out a least). I think I will try to do what Lemorris does-as far as making money on the side.

even on the side, since you don't need to do it, it will be more fun this way. who knows what will happen. i'm saying no matter what it becomes, if it isn't attempted in any way, you will never know what it will become.

for FPV facons(ford performance vehicles) go to www.fpv.com.au there they will have the newest bad arse falcons on display and you can even configure your own falcon. there is a six cyl falcon that will tear the GT-P( grand touring- pursuit) a new arse hole and thats the fpv F6 TYPHOON. 4.0L straight 6 intercooled turbo 270kw and a whoppin 550 Nm of tourque,....thats the most tourque out of any aussie built engine....EVER!!!! turn traction control "off" and its a factory drift car with all that tourque....plus the rock hard suspension set up.

the commodore "SS" is ageneral motors holden equivelant to the "XR8" ford falcon, strip both these cars down and deck em out in race trim and these r called GROUP A V8 supercars( just like the U.S have their nascars) so these are the nascars of australia, except we race on flat track not banked ovals. although the best ford driver "Marcos Ambrose" is resighning from australian touring cars and heading over to the U.S to race nascar in 2006. hope he does well..we will miss him.. i sure holden drivers wont tho.
