I just got my 92 eagle talon 2.0 N\A about a week ago... now heres the bummer... it starts fine runs well revs nicely but once the temp reaches normal opperating temp and you rev it ...or come to a stop light... and take you foot off of the gas... the motor rapidly revs between 1200 and 2400 rpms about 1 time per second... i had a mechanic look at it and he tested 2 different sensors and said they checked fine and said it had to be the computer... so i got a new one of those and it still does it.... i have no clue what to do and im starting to get frusterated please help me

My 1992 Talon did that for awhile. Since my battery had died, the service people mentioned the computer needed to be reset after having lost the power connection. I later discovered, it was the idle speed screw. Over the years, the rubber O-ring became too dry, causing the screw to become loose. Eventually it fell out, and the car began stalling at all stop signs/traffic lights. A simple $4.00 (Canadian) plastic replacement idle speed screw resolved the problem.
