64 Tanks!!!

Earlier tonight at around 11 me and a buddy got hungry so we went a town over to get some Arby's and when we pulled in the parking lot across the street on the train tracks there was a stopped train. There were 32 trailers/cars and on each one were 2 desert camo tanks. None of my military buddies were with me so I couldn't identify them. It was one of the creepiest scenes I've ever seen. It looked like one of those old WWII movies without the black and white. The only light was coming from the Arby's parking lot and there was a lightning storm about 10-15 miles past the tanks. There was another guy sitting there looking at them and we went and talked to this guy for a few mins. and he said he'd talked to the engineer and he said they were headed to Chicago...dunno what Chicago needs with 64 tanks. :eek7:

the weirdest thing i have seen on a train was a Boeing 727 fuesalage. i have seen it three times now, and there is two fuesalages on the train. all three of them have stopped behind my house.

I bet that was really wierd.

Theres a major amunition depot a few miles from where I live, nothing uncommon to see tanks and fighter jets and such. Also close to me is Barksdale AFB, my uncle lives directly under one of there flight training routes, stuff flys over so close to the ground you can almost count the rivits on it.

I would be pissed if planes flew low over my house all the time!!!

sometimes PDX reroutes the planes over my house... also get hot air balloons every once in a while :naughty:
