'73 Firebird front end needed for '81 TA custom conversion...

I have just purchased an '81 Trans-Am project car- great mechanics, terrible body and interior. First, for all you wise guy purists out there, no need to respond to this posting, not interested in wise guy comments from those out there who feel the need to validate themselves thru chastising creativity.

I am in the process of starting to totally customize an '81 Trans-Am, starting with converting the front end to the '73 style (same as '70, '71? not sure) anyway, the process will continue with new/used hood, bubble flairs on front and back, replacing the stock spoiler with a whale tail style spoiler. I need new/good used interior which looks good, is comfortable, and is fun to drive in ie: tilt steering, power windows, good dash with analog or digital components... you get the idea. Open to all ideas and suggestions- except from you purists ;)

Thanks!

Hey, I am glad that there are people out there who are willing to do some more interesting things to thier cars, than bitching around of how its not gonna work. I had few ideas, and they might sound very stupid, but I actually tought of getting a functional shaker on my 89 bird, through the cowl hood. (It would have been a great idea if I did not have a cowl hood).
Anyway I am a big fan of second gen birds, and their aggressive look. Other than better cooling I really do not see the 73 front on 81 trans am. However its your decision, it would defently look awsome none the less.
My preference is to put an 79 front on it (awsomely aggressive looking). But ya know its just me and I do respect the 73. I would love a digital dash, it would make it look way more babe attractive. I have tilt steering and power windows, and it sure is fun to drive a WS6. So get some stuff from the junk yard and go to town.
Write back with some pics if possible I wanna check it out.
Good luck
