For some on my 93 T-bird, the only way to get my brake lights to turn on is to push the brake pedal all the way to the floor. I have brake fluid in it and my brake pads are fine. I am guessing it has something to do with the switch a little ways up from the brake pedal. I have no idea how to adjust it or if it need to be replaced. Any help with be appreciated

As far as I know their is no adjustment that can be made. Mine went bad and the switch only costs about 10$. And it only took me 5 minutes to replace it.

Got my switch from the junkyard. It's square looking.
Although my lights didn't work at all.It hooks
about half way up the brake arm.Fairly easy to change.
