GM Accessory Security Fob

I purchased a Demo 03 AV - Z66 which had a GM Accessory Security card. This is not related to the remote unlock systems. It's just a small 1 by 1.5" slim card you wave under the dash.. hear a neat chirp and the rig will start.. without the card the truck will turn on, but it disables the starter (sort of like those old plug units that use to burn out). Of course the dealer didn't supply me with any info about the card and I was wondering if there's a quick way to disable that part of the security system or am I going to grab my wirecutters and some tape and yank the system out.
