ZC Engine and components swapping help

Hey guys, I recently bought a 1990 honda civic Si with a 1989 Acura Integra 1.6L DOHC ZC engine in it. The problem is that the whole cylinder head is missing, but every other component is there. The cylinder head is quite a hard part to find, and I'm wondering if using a cylinder head from a regular honda civic or acura integra would work. I'm not too familiar with the 'ZC' engine type, what exactly does it do and what kind of cylinder head can i use??

Peace out

What color is the valve cover? Integra's didnt come with zc's in them (unless you mean jdm integra) If it really is the zc, you will need to get another dohc zc head. No other head bolts up to that block. Keep your eyes on ebay or something.

oh wait, haha. If the heads not there, im guessing the valve cover isnt either lol :grinno: What code is stamped on the block? Right to the left and down a little from where the exh. manifold bolts up to the block.

Yeah it really is the zc, jdm integra engine. and the car came with a valve cover, it's black. All i need is a cylinder head, but don't know which one. and the code that is stamped on the block starts with L3.

L3 is the tranny code most likely. If its a Dohc Zc, then it just says "ZC" on the block. Any head from a dohc Zc will work.

check the classifieds, I have a zc f/s.
