Dear forum,
My '95 AWD Talon decided to not start one day. No previous warning. No mods. In trying to start it, it backfired and blew the BOV. I replaced it with an updated one but of course that was not the problem. The trouble code had:
8/2/2004
P0302 Cylinder #2 Misfire
P0340 CAM LOCATION SIGNAL - NO SIGNAL
P1400 Differential Pressure Feedback EGR Circuit Low Input
O2 sensors have 60-80mV when trying to run.
I tested the spark plugs one at a time and noticed that cyl. 1 + 4 were not firing. They are on a common coil so I replaced the coil but that was not the problem. I thought it must be the cam location sensor so I called the dealer and they said it is not likely the sensor because neither coil should fire then.
Anybody know what the problem could be?

Update: replaced the power transistor. No help.
