I have a 98 aurora and my horn went out its not the fuse because I already explored that route. I know it has to be the horn its self.
But, I have no clue as to the location of it and since i can't sound it I cant look for it. Can any one help with this????

THANKS,

LUIS

There are two on my 1996, high tone/low tone situated in front of the front wheel wells and although I know this I still can't find them. :banghead: Please post in this thread if you find yours.

ok, i have a GM Tech manual for the aurora, but right now my scanner isn't scanning, once i get it working i'll get pix of all the pages on the horn system for you.

I hate to tell you this BigDaddy Royster but your Aurora only has the 4.0 Northstar, not the 4.6 like your sig line says.

Remove Horn Relay Right Front Underhood Relay Center and check for battery voltage at relay connector terminals 30 and 85.
If battery voltage is present at both terminals, go to step 2.
If battery voltage is not present at terminal(s), check RED (1142) wiring and Right Front Underhood Relay Center "HORN" Fuse for an open.
With Horn Switch depressed, measure voltage from relay connector terminal 85 to terminal 86.
If battery voltage is present, go to step 3.
If battery voltage is not present, check BLK (28) wiring for an open; check in-line Connector C202 for proper terminal contact; check Spring Loaded Contact, Slip Ring, and Horn Switch for an open.
Connect a fused jumper from relay connector terminal 30 to terminal 87.
If horns do not sound, go to step 4.
If horns sound, replace Horn Relay.
Disconnect suspect horn connector. Connect a fused jumper from suspect horn terminal B (DK ORN) to positive battery terminal.
If horn sounds, check wiring to Horn Relay for an open or short to ground
If horn does not sound, check that G103 is clean and tight, and check BLK (1350) wiring for an open, if OK, replace suspect horn.
