how to prevent side from fading

Does anyone know how to prevent the side "bumpers" from fading on a 99 jeep wrangler. I heard there was some kind of spray called "Black" or something like that, but I can't find it anywhere. Also if anyone knows how to remove the white residue left by armorall please let me know. I used to put it on every now and then but just recently found out instead of keeping it black it turns it whiter. Thanks in advance.

This is the Jeep TSB on this problem. Fairly labor intensive but may help.

There is a spray stuff you can put on, I had the same problem with my '97. Check out any decent auto parts store and they'll steer you in the right direction.
