Should RST keep moderating

Well I guess RST is serious about quitting being a moderator. This all over that WRX thing that got started in Kevins thread. If any of you missed it..

Well for one I think he should still be a mod there was no reason to ban Dayna. She was arguing but she was not going crazy like the other people that we have seen on this form. And saying that he is not banning her cause she is a girl WTF!!!! Last time I checked davesheppelSVT or whatever was not banned and he was going fuckin crazy and the thread ended up being 9 fuckin pages long and he was never banned

Why are the guys on here so mean to the women? Some of these comments are way out of hand. Keep moderating Jake. Ive pissed off some mods but they would always chose to threaten me with banning rather than quiting.

Jake, you are a good mod. The dude who was bitching about sexism or what not is way out of line, and if anyone deserves a warning, it is him. Dayna did not deserve any reprimand or banning, and you were right for not doing either.

Some people need to understand that these forums sometimes get argumentative, and that's OKAY! As long as we aren't going in circles about a subject, or people don't get unnecessarily defensive, healthy arguments are good!

Here's some insight into the politics of moderating:
Moderators that say "I quit" are usually answered by the other mods with "ban whoever is giving you shit" so I hope that happens, like I said, before some stupid bitch puts down 10 pages of moderator insulting bullshit in my forum.

Anyway, when EclipseRST is over that a member was being a dumbass again (which was probably on top of a bad day), he will probably resume moderating which will happen instantly. Pays to know people, huh? I'm not worried about it.

Along the same lines... I want to be helpful and nice to all members, newbie or not, but more importantly I'd like to retain the information that keeps this forum away from an AIM chatroom full of WRONG information. I've been trying to get rid of it, but lately it seems to be coming full swing. I don't ban many people at all, close threads, or be mean without giving a reason.. so I hope everyone understands that I only do stuff to make the forum a better place.

I think it takes a global mod to edit a poll. In any case, do we really expect Jake to calculate the votes to decide what to do? Doesn't matter.

I told jake if more than 2 people vote "NO" besides himself, then he can stop modding. But since nobody has voted "NO" then he has to get back to modding. Lets just see if he keeps his word.
