Install power mirrors into 97 DX hatch

Quick question. I'm about to pick up some carbon fiber Spoon power side mirrors. I owned a 92 DX a while back and I could swear the wiring harness for the mirrors was in the doors already. If that is the case in the 97 would I also need the relay? If that is the case is it simply a matter of just plugging the relay up to the fusebox or is there addidtional wiring/soldering to be done?

Any help would be appreciated because we just picked this car up and HAVE to get those cheesy carbon fiber look-a-like mirrors the guy had off there. The view is terrible and the quality is just as bad. Plus they also have the built in turn signals that light up with blue LEDs-ugh!. They vibrate/shake at high speeds and air whistles into the cabin while you're cruising. Overall I cannot get these off fast enough.

So thanks again. If push comes to shove I'll just pop off the door panels.

Do it.

There is some wiring involved, but not too difficult. and if you want to save yourself any soldering if you get into the fuse box and find you need to so so, you can hit Autozone or PepBoys for a extra fuse module that you can wire off any relay in your fuse box, or hardline to the battery with the right resistors inbetween, its a lot easier. I did an OEM power window and door lock conversion on my past 92 VX - tore out the whole system from a junkyard 94 EX and installed into the 92 - ran into fuse box trouble - the relays were there, but weren't wired, so I just tapped on a new fuse module. worked out great. easier access too while I discovered that stock 7.5 A fuses weren't gonna work with that set up
