warm the car up.
turn the timing light on and set the timing marks (crank pulley) to the first line. pretty easy. there is 3marks together they are 14,16,18degrees. and a seperate mark away from the other, that is dtc. set your timing to the first of the 3.

Take the timing wire, plug it to the first cylinder (far right), connect the guns power cables to the battery, Then unplug the timing connecter under the dash (must do this before starting car), start car, point gun at crankshaft pulley, should see a red dot with one white dot on either side, see if the red dot is aligned to the arrow molded on the timing belt cover, which should be white, if not aligned, unscrew the dizzy (dist.) so it's loosened but don't take the screws out, move the dizzy back or forth so the that red mark aligns witht he arrow, tighten the bolts back up, shut off the engine (do this before connecting the plug back up), plug the connector back in, and your done!
