i have a 93 hatchback with a gsr motor swap. last summer when i did the swap it was idelling at 1,000 rpm's, then i put it away for the winter and when i took it out like a couple of weeks ago it now idels at 25,000 rpm's and it wasted a full tank of gas in a day in a half. what can i do to lower the idelling on it back to 1,000 rpm's. Any sugg's

That motor must really be built to be able to idle at 25,000 rpms.

make sure you have the right amount of pressure in your fuel tank. Take off the cap and put it back on... I had this problem on my motorized scooter (Go-ped). I dunno... I'm being retarted... I'm helping you on a motorized scooter problem... but you never know... lol. WHat mods did you do to it to get it to rev at 25,000 rpms? and thats just the idle. How high does it rev?

me thinks he means 2.5K RPMS. Just adjust your idle

There is an adjustment screw on the top left of your TB right by the map sensor. Turn it right to set the idle lower. If that doesn't take care of it I would say its a vaccuum leak.

There is a screw on your throttle body that is right next to the plug on top of the throttle body. Take a long, flat screw driver and turn it to the right while the car is idling. If you turn it all the way in and it is still not low enough start looking for a vacuum leak.

honestly i have a 93 ex coupe and had the same problem after installing my skunk2 intake manifold. it would stumble up and down from 1k to 2.5k rpm, this can be casued from a vacuum leak at teh throttle body, or the manifold itself if the gaskets are not selaed right. check into that before jsut adjusting your idle screw.
