Just was wondering if a stock v6 MX-3 (like yr 92-94) would be able to take a stock 2000 Tiburon?
and if not would a KL-ZE mx-3 be able to?
also what else could a stock v6 mx-3 take in a straight line race?
(like cars younger ppl could have...like around here..civics, crx's, sunfires..etc..cars like that, stock or not)
and if not would a KL-ZE mx-3 be able to?

OK well the 1.8l 4 banger tiburon has about 130 hp 122torque , and the stock V6 Mx-3 has 130 115 torque.....soooooooo i guesse it depends on weight and the capabilitys on the driver. On and if you had a KLZE you'd kick its ass. A KLDE would do the job too. With a KLZE you could kill civics without a swap, a sunfire, cavaliers...Most stock mx-3s would tie most of those cars...if they had mods on them u'd probably loose! I mean, more than an intake and exaust of course..

wron the tiburon has 140hp and 133 torque...that's the 2000 2.0L 4 banger
I've race my freind when i was stock and his too and i beat him but not by far..it depends of the driver

yo i got a quick question if any of ya's dont mind answerin it...roughly how much for insurance on mx-3?
i know depends on tons of things but like for avg mx-3 and just normal coverage for a male what would u expect to pay?
and yes this is prob a stupid Q but figured i'd ask it too...does this get worse once u start doin mod's to that car?

weird..my site didn't said anything about a 1.8L anyways
and yours said :
1998 Hyundai Tiburon: Tiburon lost its weaker engine, giving both models the 140-horsepower, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder.
that is in 1998 so probably the tiburon only had the 1.8L in 1997
about the insurance thingy...i pay 450cad$ a year that's on one side, full covered

I mean like thats cheap as hell....im 21 too but when i get insurance its gunna be around $3000 a year (and thats even with $ took off cause i took driver's ed when i first got my license).
Thats one of the main reasons y i aint got a car yet cause im gettin very few hrs from work so between the insurance and $ for the loan i'd have no $ to spend.
though i guess u are in que. so since prices are different in places, still.....blows for me then! haha
