how to take off window tint

im pretty bored right now and i wanna take off my window tint. on the hatch part of my car. what is the easiest way. i could take it to a local shop but those guys would charge a crap load just for the hatch. so whats the best way to get window tent off??

start at the edge and peal it off, normally scrape off the residue with a razor that but that will kill your defroster. They sell stuff called Tint-Off that is supposed to be able to spray on that wand wipe the residue off but I'v never tried it. Sells for about 4 bucks at autozone.

i have heard of sing a steam cleaner to remove the tint w/o leaving the residue.

use a haidryer to heat it up and it will come off easier.

Peel a edge and use water, it reactivates the adhesive and it comes right off use a spray bottle. Its not Rocket Science.

i found the PB blaster will eat the resisdue right off, spray it on and wipe it off...

PB Blaster- its a penetrating oil, kinda like WD-40 but about 500x better
