Hello:
Can anyone offer suggestions?
To make a long story short, it will start intermittently. It tries to start but not engage. Click, click, click. A strain. I've changed the starter anew, the battery was checked and maintains a full charge. Cables to the battery are clean, no signs of loose connections. Could it possibly be the ignition switch? Relay?
F.Y.I. we just recently taken the truck to have a full tune-up. Coincidentally, a little after a week, we began having these problems. Never had them before.
Please help! I gotta get this vehicle up and running.
Thanks in advance,
Rich

I had the same problem with my '99. Try pulling out and reinstalling your starter/ignition relay. Either that or loose battern connections were apparently my problem. I bought a replacement relay just in case it fails again, but it has worked properly since Jan. 1 and I haven't put in the new relay.
Good luck.
Good luck.
