got the body cut up enough for the chassis and set her on it..

i gotta do some more notching and cutting and such and make the body fit down on there but you can see the general idea thus far

soon comes sheet metal work for the floor, and all new wiring and such, will be fun!

the body will sit lower on the frame, just needs to be fitted and such, it's a shortened S10 frame and once the body is sitting on it nicely i'll decide howmuch to drop it, prolly 5/6 drop but we'll see

as far as the inside it's gonna be daily driven so it'll have a cage/harnesses and full floor and such.

the engine is a 350 and turbo400 tranny.

id like to see a civic with a supra tt engine that would be cool as shit. But damn that thing will really move with a 350 as it is.

This reminds me of a civic that was at a car show couple weeks ago that had been turned into an el camino truck type thing.

had you thought about using a jeep wrangler chasis? i was looking at my boss's the other night and it looks to be about the same length and width. might have been easier to work with, for the future note.

viridion

actually the S10 chassis is the right width and only 9.5 inches too long.. easy enough to just take out a few inches hehe..

originally i was going to build a rock crawler with a 3/4 ton 4x4 chevy frame, modified suspension for major articulation but i decided a more stock looking sleeper type ride would be more fun

as far as street legal it'll have all the requirements.. and it's titled as a civic, insurance won't be much of a hassle since MN is a no fault state.

Nice work so far, good choice on the engine/trans. Is it going to be tubbed? Specs on the 350?
