what's up people.

the engine in my corolla is at about 198,xxx miles and it's time to do something about it. I was thinking about starting my project which is making it a high compression engine. Most of my friends are gearheads and shops are all around the area. I want to get some hands on experience as this is going to be my first project. I don't know how to start or how to go about it. Is there any people out there have experience building a high compression engine willing to give advice as far as how to go about it and what is needed. I'm not going to start for another week or two but I want to have as much information as possible to save some time and money. Money isn't too big an issue yet, so I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance.http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/sunglasses.gif
