smoke from front manifold

well after the car was sitting for 3 weeks or so half in garage and half the time out i finally got a new pump and replaced it, runs great again. i started her up and she idled fine then i noticed a white smoke from the front manifold. my guess is that it was water or other crap that had built up b/w the manifold and it's aluminum wrap. it doesn't smell like burning oil or gas, in fact it was almost odorless but it was definetly burning something up in that area. i hadn't spilled any oil and no gas has been leaking from the valve, and there are no leaks of any sort to be found on the car. also the temp runs normal, no ses lights, and all other guages check out. the smokin is not as bad after running the car for a few hours and it appears to be clearing up but it's still problem that can't be ignored. i'll give it 3 days and hopefully it'll clear up if not then i'll have it checked out. anybody have experience with this lmk, thanks.

take a garden hose and rinse the front exhaust manifold when the car is cooled down. IT sounds like you spilled a little coolant/water mixture and it's burning off.
