Ok, I think I told you all earlier when I got my swap done, since I have dx hubs, the shop had to POUND in(force) the axles. For about one month and a half, I had no probs at all. Now whenever i turn left, and accel med-full i feel a "clunk" and I swear its my left axle. I am guessing since I dont have the ex suspension, and they had to force in the axle, it caused the axle to go bad. So do you think its the axle, or what else could it be? So should I now go out and buy a used ex suspension and get that fixed? Thanks

I think it probably is the axel since they forced it in. Why did they do that anyways? I remember a clunk when i did my motor swap and it ended up being my axel/cv joint had gone bad. i would check it out since they "pounded it in" and all.

itys because i have a dx, and the hubs are smaller than the integra axle. if i get the ex suspension, which is spendy, the teg axles wont have to be forced in since they would fit....

Its probably your outer cv joint....call me up and I'll take a look at it. I can probably take off the knuckle and press in a new hub/spindle assembly....

No, the noise you are describing is your CV joint... the noise "Hybrid Boy" is talking about is most likely the axle...

CV Joints dont run much at all. They are like $69 for the left and like $59 for the right. That reason is because the left side is bigger than the right.

thats good to know, hey 90crx i live in colorado too, and i was also wondering if you knew any cheap shops here, cause the shop i go to charges just 50 bucks for diagnostics and its a little expensive, you know any independent shops that do a good job for a reasonable price?
also is it posible to change the cv joint myself? anyone have instrunctions or anything?

actually, not that I think about it, it might be the inner u-joint....but it should only happen while going straight....
