97 Avalon beeps

I have a 97 Avalon that beeps 5 times after I turn it off. I guess my main concern is that my battery was run down this morning and I wonder if these beeps indicate what the problem might be.

As soon as my brother gets back from vacation(this weekend) I will ask him if he knows(also has an avalon) He is very anal about having to know everything about the cars he has.

Here are two replies I got back.

"I think that's the alarm trying to tell you that it still see's a door or hood open and it can't arm the system."

"Does it have TDS Security?



If yes, I would suspect an issue with that."
