i just put 20's on my escape, now i have a squeaking noise that sounds like its coming from the rear. also, there is a lot of shaking goin on at higher speeds(maybe the wheels need balancing i dont know?). anyways whats the deal i need help and i'm not driving it anymore until i know.

the shaking is probably that the shop did a lousy job balancing the tires.

The squeaking noise is probably some minor rubbing going on either on the splash shield or the suspension, take a looksee back there and see any signs of wear on either the tire, splash shield, or suspension.

vibration at highway speeds is caused by one of two things... either a poor balance job, or, your wheels are not centric to the hub (hub centric). depends on the wheels you purchased, but most times for that application (ford escape... 5x4.5 bolt pattern, positive offset), you are going to have a generic fitment built to fit as many cars as possible. that means you will absolutely HAVE to run hub centric rings. whomever you purchased them from should have supplied you with them when you bought them.

noise could be a result of that as well.
