Can't get flywheel off, please help!!

I have a 2000 maxima that has a rear main seal leak. I have the tranny and clutch off but I can't get the flywheel off. I've removed the 8 crankshaft to flywheel bolts and can turn the flywheel seperate from the crank, but cannot remove the flywheel, I've pulled on it but it still remains in place. Though I have a 2000 it looks just like yours in your tranny removal instructions. The hanes manual said it would come off after removing the bolts and it has a different picture. Could really use your assistance, thanks.
