What do you guys think about those guys selling peformance mod devices on ebay. The ones that simply put a capacitor on your IAT sensor and boast up to 20 more horse power?
IAT sensor being the INtake Air Temperature Sensor.
And where the hell is it on my 01 GXE Max?

Okay, let me say this: You get what you pay for. Do you honestly believe you can pay less than $100 and get 20hp out of a car?
No.
Those eBay chips are right up there with the Tornado Fuel Saver...they're worth twice their weight in poodle shit. They don't do anything good. Some people who've installed them report a rough idle, poor acceleration, etc. etc.
The only way you can electronically increase your power output is to have your ECU reprogrammed by Technosquare or Jim Wolf Technologies (JWT). Do not buy a JET ECU upgrade because it too is crap.
