I took off my calipers and I cant seem to get my rotors off. is the nut in the center holding the rotor in or what?

You didn't say what year GP you have. On the newer cars you need to remove the caliper mounting brackets before the rotors will come off, front wheel drives. If you have rear wheel discs the same applies. If you have an older model GP, rear wheel drive, you will need to remove the nut that holds the wheel on and pull the rotor and hub assembly off the spindle to change the entire assembly.

i already took off the caliper mounting brackets, but the rotors wont come off. do you know if they are supposed to just pull off or are they secured by a bolt?

Sometimes the rotors become seized in place over time. A good tap with a rubber mallet might break them lose.

The bolt only holds the axle shafts. A little gentle persuasion with a hammer should loosen the rotors. You may also want to try spraying the area around the rotor and the axle with some WD 40 or PB Blaster and wait a little while before tapping with a hammer. This should loosen the rust that is holding the rotor in place.
