Make my car fast till I buy a faster one...

Alright, so I have a 92 Eclipse GS which I very much enjoy driving but I want to upgrade it...but not too much. First off, I want to get the front and rear strut bar combo from dsmparts.com if that is a good price. Is it? Also, I want to get an air intake and I'm looking at the home depot ghetto ass hack job and it looks nice. But can someone tell me what parts to get for a non-turbo? I'm not currently a car expert(taking classes in fall) but I don't want to spend the extra money on a brand name intake. Most people who mod and post on the forums seem to already have a turbo and I'm not going that way till I purchase my next car which has to be AWD turbo...but I'd still like to go faster in this car.
I know you may have heard these questions before and it may seem redundant but I did my searches and checked out the write ups unlike so many others so I'd appreciate some help here. I love my car and I can get by with lower HP with the roads around here and still have fun.
If that doesn't pacify people then if someone could get me a list to get to 200HP N/T and fairly cheap that would be great. I don't wanna heavily mod this car cuz I need to save for an AWD/Turbo which I will make my #1.

There are a few universal mods for nonturbo cars... intake, exhaust. Personally, if I was saving for a new car... I wouldn't spend a dime on my current car. It's just losing money.

i'd still save your money for a faster car that is worth modding, as long as the outside looks nice on the car you have i'd leave it

i drive a '90 n/t laser 2.0 and i have header, downpipe, hi-flo cat and cat back, all 2 1/2", plus i hacked my aircan and put in a k&n filter. good platinum plugs and good plug wires help too. oh yeah, a good 02 sensor. and 93 octane.
i agree about the fun n/t, i have hella good times in my car, and have even outrun the cops in it, but that always has more to do with good driving skill than anything else. :2cents:
