How can i get the calcium buildup off my car?

I think its calcium buildup thats what the guy at the detailer said.(hes a bit stupid so thats why i ask). How can i get the shit off my paint? Ive heard of waxing it like 5 times...tried it doesnt help.

What you can do is well it might work only if your paint job is still new and you havent done this. Take 2000 sand paper and dry wet sand it not to much just a few strokes over the are or the whole car or whatever. It will take off about 25% of your gloss on your paint job. So you can only do this 1-3 times in a paint jobs life. But after you finish and remember just a few strokes and use lots of water it will be really smooth and shiny and all the thin scratches will be gone.

I never heard of not being able to get calcium build up off your car....those little specks are pretty easy to get off with the right car soap....are you using dish soap? what kind of soap are you using? and what kind of wax?

See on the top of the right fender...thats not glare...

They make this stuff called Rub Compound, Buy some and use that. It auctly restores the paints shine. But that also takes some of the paint off, But alot better then using sand paper.

Would it be better to do it by hand or with a buffer?

yea or use clay....its made for autos

no dude cant you tell its a custom job body kit. one of those expensive brands that none of us can afford.

your only and best bet is what coolguycooz sad. sand it out with 2000 and lots of water, and if the clear coat fades i would spray it out a few times with clear coat . if fact thats what i'm planning to do these days. and for the calcium or whatever u cal it ,i believe that is the burned from the sun clear coat on your original paint. my 0.02$...

i dont think so....calcium builds up on just about everything....even contact lenses....every year i have to busy stupid new ones because of it...

Dupeto E actually dude you should do that as soon as possible cause once that stuff starts to flaked your pretty much screwd and your only way out of it is to sand it down to metal cause it will be impossible to smoothen it out. Start now get 800 sand paper dry wet sand it primer it dry wet sand it some more primer it and then do one final touch and if thats not enough do it some more 3 or 4 times then paint it cause i have some bad news on the spots where its white thats not just your clear coat thats paint deep man your pretty screwd.
