Jeep Cheroke 95 blowing instrument fuses and park lights

If you have a problem with intermittent (and I mean intermittent) fuses (dash lamps and or park lamps..front and rear) My son was ready to sell the car..totally frustrated. After (me) loaning him my vehicle sat down and looked at all possibilities from front to rear. Could find nothing that made sense till. Had the park lights on was gently moving all looms to see if I could simulate fuse blowing? By chance moved the auto selector from neutral to park and Fssst the dash lights fuse blew. Got it, the lamp for gear indication selection was shorting to earth when selector was moved. The fix took 3 minutes, (Sleeve the + Globe wire) the original is pretty sloppy (design wise) as there is no way the loom can't be free from, sooner or later shorting.

Hope this helps someone out there, from a costly and painful find.
