Raced like I've done it before

I normally don't race my rsx type s cause it is completely stock, and I can't afford insurance as it is...

But I was driving home last night with my gf from a get together we were at. as I stop at a red light theres a dude with a black Integra who looks at my car, starts laughing (mockingly with his girl) and revs his engine...Now im looking at the car and I see that the "Type r" sticker was under his window (definately not a type r) and some rust spots, and I think its auto

So I start reving waiting for the light (gf looks at me in shock, her dad crashed his bmw racing when she was younger) and make a rough start a little behind the dude, I am with him I shifting into second...As soon as my car hits 7000rpm in second she just flies and I shift into 3rd just inside the redline and pull a away pretty well. I look back and see he's not giving up so I keep the gas mashed and keep flying. As I am going into 4th I've got about 2 car lengths on him and hes getting farther away. I shift through 5th but slow down to make a right at the next right...after I turn I see the guy driving away and he gives a lil honk, good or bad I dunno.

I got seriously yelled at for the rest of the ride home, but Im not letting some dude laugh at my car from his stock integra

Well putting that guy in his place is a very good thing. Nothing like shutting up a show off.


However; if I would be you I would apologise to your gf. Its not apropriate to race and put the passenger in danger without their consent.

i agree but step farther to say you should have just laughed it off even with consent i NEVER race with nother in the car just too much risk even with an OK i can't ask someone to run with me.

It did feel real awkward to race with her, especially cause I knew she hates it...Problem was I had 3 bad options, race with her in the car, don't race and get embarassed, or ask her to get out of the car...

she told her dad about the race and he called me up and said good job, I'd like to see you racing more (hes a speedfreak)....so now shes mad at me and him, so I don't feel so bad

Bleh those are the crappy APC stickers. the original JDM stikers give you at least 50 to the wheels and raise the redline another 3000 RPM
