i ordered 2 set last time and i paid by credit card. prices are us $. it's usual sms quality (excellent). it may be tricky to assemble but it looks great once finished.

Matthew's instructions about using the #11 Xacto blade is with regards to cutting the supplied fabric (a type of 3M cloth tape) to the needed widths using the template to which the tape is adhered to. The dark lines are printed on a piece of clear plastic and the tape is stuck to the top of that piece. The cloth tappe is translucent enough to be able to see the lines through it. You use a straight edge in conjunction with the lines to cut the tape to the correct width to fit into the buckles. You could just as easily use an Ofla circle blade cutter (that's what I use) or a pair of scissors.

The "$" image next to the price means it is in United Stated Dollars (or USD). I have both this set and the 1:20th. To me the cloth tape was just to hard to thread throught the buckles (the adhesive stuck to everything) and I ended up using dyed ribbon, cut to width. Other than that all 3 of the PE seatbelt sets from SMS are very good.

I've purchased all 3 of them (1:20th, 1:24th and the modern sets). I personally think they are.

ok i want to know if they are long enough for waht i am doing
i want to mount it to the floor(not directly behind it), in between where the rear strut bar would normally go.

so would that harness kit be long long enough?

all you need is the photoetched parts, you can make your own belts any length you need
i use the detail master hardware myself, this is the one i am using for my current project, it contains parts to make 2 complete harnesses

to make the belts i use medical tape, it has a perfect "grain" that looks very realistic
