I really need your guy's imput. I am a few steps away from getting rid of my SL and GSX to get a VR4, the only problem now is what year and what I am gonna do to it. I need some help deciding so I'm letting my thoughts loose to you guys to see what you would think would be a better idea.
-Get a 94-96 because it retains AWS and then do a 99 conversion
-Get a 97-98 because it doesn't have AWS and keeps everything a bit simpler...maybe do a 99 conversion
-Or get a 93 and just keep it how it is.
As you can tell Ireally like the look of the 99 but I'm not willing to fork out the cash for a real 99 VR4. By the way, do many people have any complications with the AWS, I mean does it make that much of a difference, or is it hardly noticable? Would I have constant alignment problems or excessive tire wear? Thanks for any information you have.

I would just get what ever good deal you can grab up. Most people disengage AWS on their cars, because it doesnt really make much of a difference, and it adds extra weight.

I've never had any issues with my AWD systems. In fact, its pretty rare when I hear anyone having any.
