to make a story short....raging water's customer
safety and service sucks. all of my stuff and some
of my friend's stuff got stolen in the lockers of
raging waters. never go there anymore. for your
own safety.
yeah...i dont have a phone right now nor a
wallet,a credit card, or my f***ing watch and
f***ing slippers and the f***ing keys to my
f***ing car...spread the word.
raging waters dont give a f*** what happened to
your shit if somebody steals or breaks it. they
will just delay you with f***ing useless
questions. it took a f***ing 2 hours just to get
our f***ing info which was useless at the end. we
had to do everything. we had to call the LA county
police ourselves. little progress and f***ing lost
almost $1000 (all of our stuff total).
f*** raging waters. just ask me why and ill give
you at least 5 reasons it really sucks and not
worth it.
ill give you guys a call as soon as i get a phone.
probably next week.
spread the word. i know you guys lost stuff due to
theft and felt how some companies will treat you
badly if they feel you are not that important.
pleas spread the word. be safe and f*** raging
waters. ill post this up in forums also.

i guess norcal would be a bit different....but,
here's the story....
our stuff got stolen from a locked locker at around 2:30pm. there were cameras there and a lot of people. we reported to security and looked around if we could recognize any of our stuff. no luck. we're thinking the thieves left. so 30 mins later, 3pm, that's the time security came. what the hell was that??? so for the next two hours, the security officer was taking our info!!! two hours just to take info like height, weight, address, etc. we requested to see the video. they denied it and said that the view or angle of our locker was on the edge of the video so they could not really see who took the stuff! so when they told us that, we went back to the locker area. it was clear that they were lying. we could see the camera directly pointing to our locker. around 30-45 degrees. we then became really mad. knew they were trying not to get involved in this event. so we went back to security office and requested to call the LA county police so we can file a police report. the raging waters security office said that it will take long before they get there. so i asked them to call them right away. but they kept insisting that it will really take long. so i took the initiative to get the LA county police number and called them myself. guess what??? 5 minutes later, they arrive. i guess, the raging waters security think 5 minutes are really long!!! oh, before i forget!!! before we called the police, the security supervisor said that we cant stay in the area of the security office because he said that it was an employee area! i mean, we have been there two hours and now he wants us to leave!! so i told him it really does not say this is an employee area. there are no signs that say. the supervisor said he's the sign. i started laughing and shit. so i told him we have the right to stay here since we paid for our entrance and that we are reporting an incident. what kind of shit was that. taking two hours to just get general info about us, not wanting to call the police, and telling us to leave. they just really dont care about what happened. they wont fucking care at all. i hope i can make this clearer. i just cant really think that good right now. ill keep you guys updated.

its a gay water amusement park here in socal. .
Why not go to the straight park instead? :p
Seriously, I hate thieves. All these places are 'use at your own risk'. I don't like putting all my stuff in lockers, whether its at the gym, etc.
People know you will be half naked and not watching your stuff for hours.
All I do is wear an old $10 watch, leave my cc at home and be happy my stuff is still there when I get back. Assume you will be ripped off and prepare for it.
BTW they have your wallet (with your home address, no?) and your car keys? I hate to say this but
Expect your car to disappear next. Change the locks

Another SoCal resident here...
Isn't Raging Waters about $50 to get in? That seems really high for a water amusment park. No desire to go in the first place.
Anyways, that sucks about getting your stuff stolen. It's worse when the security doesn't cooperate with you. I don't really use the lockers at the amusment parks unless I store something like a sweater or jacket I don't want to carry around until later at night...nothing too expensive. I'll especially keep a watch out now for stolen stuff at the amusement parks.

.
At least $80 for something straightforward, like an older GM car. But it goes up from there if its newer or an import.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck. Unfortunately, large gatherings in public places draws the worst of society. My friend and I go to the beach a lot, and as other poster mentioned, I wear a cheapie water resistant watch ($19) and leave me good ($29) watch at home. I carry my car key and brake lock key in my swim trunk key pocket and my friend also pins a spare set to her swim suit, just in case. I don't trust water parks because I hear crabs like to swim in the water!

Oh, and forgot to mention that I don't trust "rent a cops" also. We had one at our company parking lot and one of the women was attacked right in her own car! I've actually seen him sleeping in his car on duty!

Only one thing worse than paying a bunch of money to swim in a piss-filled bacteria frappe- getting your shit stolen while you're doing so...
