Gaskets

Ok. I just got My Rockford Punch subs. In the box there were these foam gasket looking things. Where do I put these? Between my box and the subs?

ohhh...wait RF makes ones to cover the ugly rim around the sub, if they are about 1/4" thick they go on the outside, sorry.
