Hey everyone, It looks like my dad is selling his dragster. Were looking at buying a 1998-2002 camaro z28 or SS. This will also be my first car (ill be 16 next year) We dont want to spend more then 15 for the car alone. were going to do mods to it (air intake, exh...ext) were looking for the car to run 10's or 11's in the 1/4. what would we have to do to a SS to make it run those numbers. Also because were going to bracket race it, it's going to have to be auto. Thanks alot,
Eric

The LS1 will put down almost 300 hp at the wheels stock. You should be able to get near 11s with some slicks, a decent suspension, and a shot of nitrous or a supercharger.

no kidding, if he has a dragster, i would hope he would have an idea what it would take to get that car into the #'s you are looking at.

Why the hell not?? Tons of drag people run cars with carbs and dont know a thing about fuel injection. The 3rd generation small block has quite a few differences from the 1st gen one which most people use.

hey, yes our dragster is carborated. we know all the simple stuff. headers, exhaust, some chip, air intake. but not shure about what els would be really good for this car. like some of the maximas gain ALOT of power from a y-pipe. thanks alot,
Eric

Nice to meet you too...the mustang is what's funny, with his reverse lights on...lol. And you Camaro looks better... I saw in the other thread about your tips being the wrong size, how did that work out?
