trouble code 0700 showed up.
Web site says transaxle computer probelm.
van still shifts correctly.
fluid level correct.
fluid still red.
any hints on what may cause this or where to look next?

My car showed the same problems yesterday!
Additionally there was/is a transmission error code P0740
Any idea what´s wrong?

The P0740 code is related to the Torque convertor clutch having a problem. Chrysler has had a lot of trouble with their transmission control computers over the last several years and these are some of the issues that crop up. I would take the vans to a tranny shop and have them scan it to determine if the problem is in the transmission or the computer. Replacing the computer is a lot cheaper than changing the transmission.
