Release date it set for the 25 of August(ok well not set in stone but it's the most reasonable date yet). *ONLY* Recommendation is to stay away from it unless you know what your doing with computers...It'll make my job a lot easier just wait until a week or 2 after it's released to install it if you think your going to need tech support Since we are expecting it to be busier than the sasser and blaster worm. Also don't bother downloading it if you got a pirated copy since it won't work.
Thank You,

Someone'll figure it out. :evillol:

No doubt it's already got a keygen avail online, but for the average person that has a pirated copy they aren't aware of that so they really shouldn't bother doing it.

If your having trouble maybe you have spyware in your pc, so download a spyware program and run it, SP2 is a internet security package it's stops things like spyware and pop ups accessing the net. Despite what people say it might be one of the best windows update yet. :sfnds:

SP2 is supposed to be installed over a clean install, otherwise any complication that arises outside these parameters is really at your own discresion.
Actually, microsoft never guarentees any smooth transition, except the fact that it is it is recommanded to patch your system and to backup the necessary files before proceeding to patch the system.
I personally haven't installed SP2 yet, but will do so once after exams is over and I had a format.

SP2 actually improved the performance of my PC. Not sure exactly how, but it helped out a lot.
