upper control arms

i was just wondering if anyone has any experience replacing upper control arms on a 1983 olds cutlass supreme, 4 door 305 chev V8.
The bushings on the driver side are worn and the arm has moved a bit, i'm not sure if all i need to replace is the bushings or the entire control arm. i'm also not too sure if this is something I should try to fix at home or if it is better to take it in to a shop and save myself some aggrivation. Anyone with any tips for me please share. thanks in advance.
