Can I use neutral grey primer with tamiya yellow?

hi, i was just wonderin if i can use grey primer with tamiya yellow, cuz i dont wanna go back to the store to buy a whole can of white primer. :swear:

You can but it's not a good idea.
Tamiya's yellow is one of those colors which is translucent, if you use grey primer under it you will end up with a horrible shade of yellow.

Yellow need a perfect white primer. Else, it won't look good
Even with a full bottle of paint (5 or 6 coat) the gray will still show

My idiotic Hobby Shop don't have white primer. Everythime I ask him, he try to sell me a Model Master Flat white color. I always need to order my primer from Japan, so you are lucky to have a good hobbyshop that carry it.
btw Yellow, White, Red and all pearl color need a white primer base
