theoretically you would get better gas mileage. buddy of mine put a supercharger on a v6 and it dropped his about 5 mpg. So probly somewhere in that range, give or take a few.

so in theory i shoudl still get between 25 and 35 evne wiht only using 6 or 7 psi

theoreticly your motor is producing more power so it would take less work for it to to the same task as a lesser powered motor. but you have to factor in the effeciency of your motor before and after after the turbo, your average driving rpm and so on, but to put it simple you shouldnt loose too much gas mileage.

If you stay out of boost you can keep stock gas mileage figures I'm guessing...If you go into boost you won't get as good gas mileage.

the problem lies in that you might get a heavy right foot trying to feel the boost, hehe same thing with getting a vtec engine...

i recently took a trip from my home to protland oregon.. about a 300 mile drive. i made it there on 6 gallons of gas. thats 50mpg... i still dont believe it. but the tank doesnt lie... when i left home i had a full tank and when i got to portland i put 6 gallons in it.... i set the tripmeter when i left the gas station here and it read 305 miles when i got there... this was in a 91 civic dx fully stock with the d15b2 engine... anyone else have this kind of gas mileage??? the day after this the car broke down but i fixed it... bad dizzy cap

right before a burnt valve 270 miles to the tank, after intalling a used head, 350 a tank, then 330 the next tank, then 300, then i burnt another valve. original head being machined out right now with all new valves and gaskets, we'll see what i get then.

I usually get around 38, but I have a heavy foot and I'm impatient

I get around 30-35mpg in a 91 DX, only mod is a K&N filter, and I drive it pretty hard sometimes (when it's running...)
My buddy has an Eagle Talon TSI and when he turns the boost way up to about 14psi it just gulps down the gas, not sure about exact numbers but higher boost will burn more gas each power stroke vs no boost, but higher power will make up for it somewhat, but how much will vary with the setup...

14 psi is a lot of boost to run daily...i'd go with 6-7 or so

I guess you can setup a boost controller and turn it on n off when ya need 2 or something

i wish i could turbo my D16....*drools*
