Japanese engine swap

I spun a bearing on my engine and damaged a journal on my crankshaft. I was pricing things out and I found a japanese engine with 72,000km on it for 1100$s. I was told that the only thing I have to do is take a sensor off my engine and install it on the new one, and after that i should have no problems. I was wondering if there is any common problems with doing this, any additional info I should finde out before doing this, or if there is a better route to go. I have the 2.3L DOHC engine in now. Thanks for the help

I found the one for the H22A swap, but thats for a 2.2L VTECH into a accord. I just need to figure out if buying a japanese engine will cause me a lot of problems. Both my engine and the japanese one that I found are 2.3L DOHC non VTECH engines. The guy who has the engine told me that all I have to do is swap a sensor, his accent was too strong for me to figure out what sensor, but I do have to swap one from my old engine to my new one. But after phoning around another guy told me that the wiring harness might be different, that I will have to change the exhoust manifold, and that there is a couple of other things to change. Does anyone have any experience with this or know a place I can read up one it?

uhh u can find a better price for an h23 non- vtec, with less miles for less than 1100. keep lookin or get the vtec longblock for only liek 1200 and find an ecu and an exhuast manifold with jus those things u could run the h22, long as u can run wires and put an external igniton coil inside. need a bracket.

are you talking canadian or american prices? I'm from calgary alberta canada, and after looking around that price didnt seem too bad, unless someone else knows of a cheaper place locally.
