If memory serves it is a 1972 HQ Holden Monaro.(been awhile since I seen the movie)

i dont remember seeing that in the movie..

I think that was the car that was in the 1st movie in the first action scene. Max was driving his yellow XB and played chicken w/ Nightrider. I remember when I first saw it, I thought the car was a mustang.

The Landau was actually based on the same ford falcon body as the interceptor. It was a coupe version of the LTD, the falcon sedan based Luxury car. They were also Ford Australia's heaviest car!
