CAI Question

Now that I bought the eclipse, I want to go ahead and put a CAI in it. My question is, whats the difference between the cheaper intakes on ebay like this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7913823953&category=38634)
and the more expensive ones from AEM?

I know a kid with a POS Civic who bought one off of ebay, and it open air element fell to pieces when he installed it. You can see dry remnants of glue around the cone of the open air element. Plus he had to take a hack-saw to the pipe they gave him even though it was made for his car. I laughed, he lost like 40 bucks for that bullshit excluding shipping for that bullshit.

Sometimes it's quality, sometimes you are just paying for a name. Visit home depot and buy the required bends and clamps to make your own $30 CAI. :)

Most CAI pipes will perform the same so it comes down to what you want to see under your hood and who's name you want to drop everytime you open it for show and tell.
