i finnally got my first modification. i got a B&M short shifter ...round wieghted razo knob and energy suspension shift bushings. I love the shorter throws, it has kept me from grinding by accident by letting out clutch before i get in gear while i am just driving around. you can move it with your wrist instead of your arm so its less motion...but it takes a tad more effort to move because you loose the leverage you had with your stocker but its not bad enough to be a problem by any means. As for the install instructions B&M takes care of your pretty good, there are osme holes in it but nothing that a simple person cant figure out, not a sweat to do at all. took me a bout 2 hours to do it only because half my bolts didnt want to come loose. i used my g-tech performance meter and found the time it takes to shift with a shortie compared to stock... after many many trys and different tecniques i finnally got it to a .18 second shift on my stock. i took it out again with my shortie and i did a .1 second shift first run for 1st to second and .12 for 2nd to 3rd so theroreticlly you can lower your quarter mile by almost .16 seconds for a $50 modification. very worth while if you ask me. as for the bushings which takes the sponge out of your stick feel ... a must... you know when you exit a gear enter a gear when you all in the gear as you move from gear to gear ...it just keeps you in tune better and you can feel everything happening ...also a must for a good solid feel. everyshift now just that much more fun. and looks alot better than my stocker too id post my pic but my camera busted earlier ill try some time sense i just post these reviews for people thinking about buying these things so i am in no rush. hope that changes some minds and helps with the guess work with buying one!
