I'm a little late for this one, but here goes:
My current car made into a sleeper...502 cu inch crate motor with manual tranny with a stock-looking body and luxury items that work. The only give-away would be dual exhaust and wider rear tires that fit perfectly into the stock wheel wells.

Under 1500 lbs 2 seat-convertible chasis and frame, MR/RW drive layout powered by two Hayabusa turbocharged 1299 CC engines functioning synchronously, rev-limit extended to 15,000RPM at least, and of course a 6 speed sequential tranny; all on 19 front and 20 rear tires. And nice red bucket seats.

What the helk are you talking about? I'm referring to a custom car, when money and skill willing, I plan to build one, based on Suzuki Hayabusa engines with a light-weight replica chasis. Some guy and his daughter in England did it with two Kawasaki ZX-12R engines, and Fifth Gear's main driver blew one off when testing and over-revving it like a dumb ass. He said it was too fast for him.

Not true at all a modded car is good but a purebred racing car is still beter but a modena ill vouch for that though modena is mostly looks and so r lambos.

so when you see a Ferrari pass by your Volvo, what do you sense first, the sound or far-gone into the wind, glistening mirage of its taillights?
I hang out in Miami Beach, and er, trust me, they're more than just beautiful redheads and blondes. ;)
As for my modded car.... oh ooops, this is a car thread right? Don't mind me, I got carried away thinking about superior performance just under $4K. And the fun factor is simply undisputed.

so the fact that Ferrari is using GTC and Challenge Stradale for racing, has little value? A car doesn't need to be part of Lemans to be considered true-bred racing car. Btw, Lambos also make decent off-road vehicles. Just give credits where it's due. ;)

Some of my dream cars, eh?
Well, for starters, one of the 3 original Ferrari 330 P4's (not the rebodied, re-engined P3's, the honest to god factory P4's). Let's face it, they beat Ford on Ford's home turf with a 1-2-3 at the 24 Hours of Daytona while Ford didn't win Ferrari's home turf race, the 1000km at Monza. On top of that, Ford lost the World Championship of Makes in 1967 to the 330P4. And honestly, the 330 P4 is possibly the single most sexiest sports racer ever.
http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/271551/316091.jpg
I'd have to have at least ONE Figoni et Falaschi bodied "teardrop" car from the 30's. Dear god, these cars surpass "automobile" and go straight on to "sculpture".
Here's a 1939 Delahaye by Figoni et Falaschi, to demonstrate.
http://www.ktsmotorsportsgarage.com/rodeo98/images/fullsize/dela39b.jpg
Naturally, my garage would require a 250GTO. Even with a P4, one cannot resist a front engine V12 berlinetta.
http://ultra.cto.us.edu.pl/pub/Multimedia/Pictures/Cars/Ferrari/250/250GTO.02.jpg
I'm certain, though, that other cars would quickly follow. There's Scarabs and Lancias and Bentleys and Talbots and Duesenbergs and Jaguars and TVR's and Marcoses and Hispano-Suizas and Auburns and Allards and Cunninghams and Cisitalias and COPO Chevelles and Yenko Stingers and McLarens (real racing McLarens built by Bruce McLaren, not that sily three seat wedge) and Lolas and Bizzarinis and Isos and Triumphs and......
Damn, if I can ever afford to own all the cars I want I'll be sure to open a free to the public museum with twice a month track and cruise days during the summer to show the cars in motion, as they should be.

Actually, most of the time I'm awake during the day is spent working on other people's cars. lol
But, yes, I consider the McLaren F1 to be a homely uninspired wedge of a design, completely lacking in character, beauty, and artistic influence. I'm sorry, but discreet Teutonic restraint is not something I want in a supercar, nor should it come from a racing team whose emblem was a kiwi bird.
C'mon, is a little flamboyance too much to ask from a million dollar car?

I'd take Mercedes Benz SL55 AMG and build my own manual transmission for it :D But that's something of a cruiser still.
For back to basics, I'd have me the new Lotus Exige- There's a car Chapman would be proud of.
Of course a McLaren F1 and original McLaren would have to take a place in my garage- due to sheer patriotism and I'll take the new Hulme F1 to line up beside it in my patriot garage(When they start production in a few years)
Though of course I can't go without my Ferrari's- a 250 LM (WAY sexier than the GTO IMHO), 333 SP, 246 GT, 512M, 250 GT SWB, 250 California, 275 GTB, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 166M Barchetta, 288 GTO, 550 Barchetta, F40, F50, F355 Berlinetta manual and a 360 Challenge Stradale.
But that's not to say that Ferrari are the only people who create timelessly elegant motors. I'd love to have a Lamborghini Miura, BMW 507, Aston Martin Vanquish, Alfa Romeo SZ, ISO Grifo, Toyota 2000GT, a Honda S800 with the subtlest of mods, Aston Martin DB series (Every one of them being timeless), Lancia Hyena (Zagato), Bentley Arnage Red Label, TVR Tuscan 400R, Lamborghini Espada and Diablo GT 6.0 and throw in a Duesenberg SJ for good measure!
And of course RALLY CARS! I'd love a Stratos, O37, 131 Arbath, Delta Integrale Evo, Delta S4, RS200, 206 WRC 2002, Impreza 22B, Evolution III and Escort RS Cosworth to give me some thrills in the backyard :D
I think the only thing missing would be the collection of BMW M cars!
That is by no means the complete list- but I could never name one and (wet) dreams are free!

The f40 is 1 of the best pure bred racing cars I ve ever seen.
BTW whats the motorcycle your gonna get or car. I have a feelin u like bikes though lol.
Was I that obvious? lol.
Currently I have a SV650s, but it has some drawbacks and no insurence yet, so it's for sale. I plan to get a F2/F3/F4 next year.
Still keeping my Z32 though, for beach and rainy days.

R1 is a 998 CC inline 4 bike, and I am a new rider. Getting that bike right now would be somewhat like strapping myself in an ACME rocket and launching it, when I never even sat inside an airplane.
The Suzuki Hayabusa MSRP cost is $10,899.00, but a new one can be had for just under $10K.

Thanks, I think, hehe. I mean I had a little difficulty understanding your second sentence. Actually, I am not a kid/squid, but I understand the mentality of people around my age wanting the fastest sportbike. We've also drifted too far off-topic. :D

handling: F50, I just re-watched the Clarkson video. and it's quicker than the M12 obviously, but M12 is ridiculously cheaper of course.
Are you arguing because Noble has a Ford engine in there? lol. fast car? yes. could be used for track? definitely. but it's no supercar/road legal formula car.

Yeah but still its a car that is insanely cheap. F50 is cool because it has suckin fans which help it hold the road better.

how could you get rid of a z32?
since everybody is mentioning more than a couple of their dream car (there is no s there), i will list my few dream cars.
there would be of course the ferraris - f-50, f-40, f-360 stradale, f-355 berlinetta, enzo, 515M, 288 GTO, P4, Dino 246 GTS.
then there would be the other cars - tvr tuscan, austin martin db9 vanquish, pagani zonda, porsche gt3 and gt2 and 996 Turbo.

That's right, can't ever get rid of it. But I'll have to be riding more later than driving .Btw, if that ZX is smokey gray, then we have same exact car, except my Z is '90 - no Nissan hamburger logo.

nice... yeah I mistook the glaring impression for dark gray.
if I had the money and commitment to restore old cars, my first choice would have been the 70's datsun 240Z with covered headlamps. That car looks far more sexy than Z33 IMO.
