eclipse breaks

I'm looking for some advice on my 01 eclipse breaks. I purchased the car 2 and a half months ago. The dealership turned the rotors for me because they were a little warped. Ever since I got the car the breaks have squeaked like hell when slowing down at low speeds. The dealership said to let them wear into the new finished rotors and they would quit making the noises. They also said that they are factory pads. After over 1500 miles the squeal was still there so I decided to change the pads. I put a set of gold series advance auto parts pads on. The squeal is still there and now I have a grinding type noise whenever I have to break abruptly.
I took the car to Midus today to have them look at the breaks and they said everything was fine but the sound is probably because they are semi metalic pads as opposed to ceramic pads eclipses should have. Is this the case? And do all eclipses have this break squeal that won't go away? Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys. Andrew

Sounds like the brakes were abused, my friend showed me a trick in his 98GS-T where he held down the brakes and hit the gas and watch the factory boost gauge go up, then he let off the brakes and the car would go woosh...that'll warp your brakes
There are companies that sell new performance rotors for approx. $500

I use brake silencer on my brakes cuz I get realy annoyed with the squealing, It says on the directions not to spray it on your rotters but I do and it works........
Brake Pad Silencer.
I realy want a big brake up-grade,
some brembos.....
The stock brakes just dont cut it.

selekta you put brake silencer on you r rotors?!?!?!?!?! are you carzy! that will destroy your pads, and reduce you braking tremendously! it also might start a fire in ur rotors. all you have done is put grease on your rotors!!!!!!! so get your rotors turned as soon as you can to get that shit off of them. the warning is there for a reason!!! every once and a while technicians know what they are talking about. Andrewkrood, DO NOT put anything on your rotors. this goes for everyone else, unless you have a death wish!

if you steering wheel shakes a little when like getting off the freeway or something it sometimes means that you are hard on your breaks and the rotors have heat marks (black/grey circles). all you need to do is get your rotors turned but its a bitch if it keeps happening over and over because you soon have not enough rotor to resurface...and if you get to that point you should get a big break upgrade...or upgrade to drilled and slotted rotors that will help.

Its probably because you have dust, or a small rock in your pads. Pull them off and give them a look. If you need instructions I can e-mail you how to pictures to pull off the caliper's, and rotors.

So there I was saying I have no squealing on the last page. Now my damn brakes squeal when I back up. Like backing out of the drive way when I stop to turn down the road they squeal, back in or out of a parking spot, when I stop they squeal. But they never squeak/squeal when I'm slowing down when driving foward. Whats up with them? I'm at 41,000 miles now and I think they are stock brakes. The dude that owned it before me did not change anything other than the lights.
