Ive got a 90 n/a 2+2 and ive been thinkin instead of pourin tons of money into an na to get HP,( like a single turbo for 4k, or twin for 6K) maybe just drop a vg30deTT in instead for only about 2K for the motor, and 1500-2000 to get it put in....what do u guys think ???? and isnt there lots more upgrades available for the TT motor ?

Dude what the are you talking about...

Where are you getting these 6grand figures for a Twin Turbo?

... Who else is sick of people coming up with these great "I'll just swap in a Twin Turbo motor" idea?

Sorry to be an ass, but just do a search for Twin Turbo 2+2, this has had to be covered three times already.

This has been covered but I'll note that is more upgrades mostly because there is more parts. And its fairly cheap and easy to get ~320-350 rwhp with a mostly stock TT engine. After that you have to upgrade many expensive items like the injectors, turbos, intercoolers and a few other things. Figure atleast 7-10 thousand to upgrade the turbos and enough other pieces to make it worth it. A full first level turbo upgrade can costs 10-15k depending on how far you want to take it. The next step up is a full engine rebuild, with new fuel pump, injectors, turbos, and on and on and on. Figure about another 5-10k on top of the first turbo upgrade for that one.

you need to do more research man , if you live in georgia you can have your n/a with twin turbo running in low psi . in fact, letting you know that the labor is $2000 and parts you have to buy it come around 6k. Z 2+2 to TT also come aroud 6k, get the front clip 5speed for 3k , automatic cheapper. tranfer everything to Na and if you smart enough you can do it yourself cut and weld but i don't think u can. There was a place in Georgia doing SR/RB 240 Swap for $450 labor and they have done Z Na to TT labor maybe 2000 who know. I never ask them because i'm thinking do it myself, also i have all the help i ever needed. the last sentence laugh all you want.. i don't mine

i am goin to take a stab at what he was trying to say. he knows a place in georgia that will do a full swap from n/a to TT for $2,000 labor and maybe he can get a front clip for $3,000. Total would be $5,000. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! if it were that easy everybody would have a TT.

i know of a few companies that do the swap off the top of my head who are z professionals. ultimatez, zmotorsports, and sgpracing. they all will do it for $10,000 and that is just the swap. not upgraded turbos or intercoolers. no nothing. bone stock.

$2000 labor is n/a with tt setup run in low PSI, that mean your NA engine running TT. Maybe some people can tell the different between
N/A or TT engine because there are some differences.

Respond your last sentence
not everybody would like to have a TT, maintain are not cheap, and engine won't last long.

$10,000 swap na to TT you have an automtic and you being rip off $2000
i think this thread should end here because all dump ass talk shit and they thinking they're smart .

dude i cant understand you. i thought i knew what your saying but now i am just confused. so your trying to run a n/a with a 10:1 compression ratio with 2 turbos hooked to the back of it. and how low is your boost gonna be. 1/2 psi. pointless.

There are SOME differences?

... Some... Dude what?

They're almost 60% different.

I still cant understand what you are saying though... I think I might have to get a Bembridge Scholar to look into this translation.
