Stupid axle question

This is a stupid question, but when I'm doing an engine swap, which set of axles do I need? Front or Rear?

it depends on what tranny you have and what swap. we need more info

And you only need front axles (like BigBEar said need more info to help with which ones), but there's no reason to change out rear axles.
