Whenever I make a turn I hear loud clicking. Once the car started vibrating a bit and it was hard to steer in the direction I wanted to go. It stopped and now only clicks. I was wondering what happened and what's wrong?

Your cv boots on the axle must be torn. You can either replace the whole axle or just the boot. I just replace the boot on mine. It cost me about 40 dollars to do both sides. I think if you replace the whole axle it will cost maybe 70 and up I think. Here is a site that will help you in replacing the axles, if they are in fact the problem. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382416

Thanks for the info. That site is GREAT! Thanks for passing it along. You have any clue how long you can drive around with a cracked axle and what safe speeds are?

Your axles I think are pretty bad since you had a hard time steering. So I wouldn't drive it until you get it fixed. The axles might fail and leave you stranded. I think it depends on how strong your tranny is or how hard you drive it. My friend put in a racing clutch, stage six I believe, took it out to test (with torn boots) and it actually ripped the boot in half leaving the axle hanging from the transmission. We had to push the car back to the house. Lucky we weren't going high speeds. Well glad to be of help.

you can drive it, but it will cause unneccesary strain on the car. you can drive it all the way til it completely breaks and since yours is fwd it wont drive what so ever. it happend to mine once, had to call AAA to tow me.

My car makes a very quiet clicking sound when I make sharp L or R turns, do I have the same problem?

Probably. Lift up your car and take a look at the boots. If torn and leaking grease, then the answer is yes. :smokin:

Your have a bad/worn CV joint. The CV boot is probably torn too. If the boot was torn and it didn't click, you could probably just have a new CV boot put on and be good. The clicking idicates that contaminets have gooten inside the CV joint and ruined it. You'll need to have your CV jpints replace, which is done by getting a new axel. I wouldn't drive around until you get it fixed.
Although normally it doesn't get this bad before it is fixed, I know of one case where a guy in here was driving around and it just snapped at the CV joint. He let it go to long.
Also, the the 2nd guy in here who asked "my car makes the same sound do I have the same problem", if your car makes the same sound when you turn, you probably have the same problem.
