Honking Remote

I just bought a new 2004 Explorer with a remote. When I lock the doors it honks the horn also. This is darn annoying. Anybody know how to let it lock the doors without it having to honk at me?

I believe if you press the lock button once the horn will not sound. If you press it twice the horn will honk to let you know it's locked. Without looking at my 03's owner manual I'm not sure if it can be disabled. Check your manual. I'll look at mines later, car is down in garage. Enjoy your new Explorer.
